A moment of being utterly annoyed with the paparazzi culture and the artificiality of the yellow press hype caused the spark to start this series of the most thinkable opposite: the overlooked life of some wild-growing plants at every corner of the city..
Mostly taken in winter when everything seems to be at a mere stadium of awaiting some better times- hence the name for it- I was fascinated by the idea of combining the portraits of plants with an urban background to create an atmosphere of meditating about the notion of "waiting" in itself, an attribute usually used exclusively on human behaviour.
The first dozen pictures of this series you may find on my portfolio 2008
